Over the years Sharkey has been privileged to gain extensive experience of working in a wide range of historic buildings, with projects ranging in scale from small refurbishments to major restorations of iconic buildings in World Heritage sites.

Building on the specialist knowledge gained, we always endeavour to blend empathetically this expertise with contemporary construction techniques to ensure an uncompromised regenerated end product. Works in historic buildings are invariably demanding and challenging, given that they bring traditional trades back into the construction arena and we are fortunate that our specialist team are able to lead the way with manufacturing skills necessary for both the conservation of existing fabric and the production of period works.
