Established in May 2016 Studio B is the UK’s first intuitive digital banking service. In September 2016 Sharkey was appointed through collaborative negotiation to deliver the flagship branch on London’s exclusive Kensington High Street. The scheme launches a truly omnichannel experience that effectively combines on & offline communication. Utilising state of the art technology the application of facial recognition, gaming, animation and video content brings about a “unique customer experience”. This exciting project signals a significant evolution within the banking sector.
Sharkey’s specialist and extensive retail banking experience was critical to ensure potential risks likely to impact on project success were quickly identified and rapidly resolved through a collaborative approach. As a business we have delivered over 3 million sqft of retail banking space in the last 48 months. Sharkey’s skilled operational team, led by Account Manager Scott Hagart, Contracts Manager Mark Blair, Commercial Manager Chris Mcmanus and Site Manager Mark Waltenberg worked closely with both client and design team to ensure CYBG’s vision of ‘creating a space that would generate buzz, build their brand and showcase innovation’ was seamlessly transformed from concept to finished product.
